Is Your Home Marketed to Sell?
Contrary to what the newspapers and television news talking heads would have you believe, real estate in Jupiter Florida is still being bought and sold in south Florida. Not every single home is in foreclosure (in fact, most are NOT in foreclosure), and there are still deals to be made. The question is, which properties are selling, and which are not? And the even more important follow-up question is “WHY are some homes selling when those around them are not?” Part of the answer to these questions is obvious: homes in good condition priced at or below market value with easy purchase terms are still selling. However, there is another not- so- obvious answer to why some homes are selling when others are not. The answer is found in the marketing. First, do you even market the home at all? No one is going to buy your home if no one knows it’s for sale. Second, how creative and how widespread is your marketing? A sign in the front yard is great, but how many people really drive down your street? An ad in the newspaper is okay, but chances are it’s getting lost among the hundreds of other real estate ads. When you are ready to sell your home, find a Realtor who out-markets the rest. Multiple websites, blogs, online real estate video sites, and other internet marketing tools are going to give your home the most exposure AND allow for exposure in some very creative ways.
