North Palm Beach vice mayor Ed Eissey said of the project, "It will be the 'shining star' of the golf world, not only in Palm Beach County, but the state of Florida, and throughout the nation. We should be very proud that Mr. Jack Nicklaus allowed us to use his talents and his name on this project." Nicklaus' response? "This was my way to give a little something back to the community and the people who have given me so much." Nicklaus only charged the community a single dollar for his work.
It's not surprising, therefore, that North Palm Beach golf homes should be in so much demand. There are golf condos that make the first hole well within walking distance and provide stunning views of the master-designed fairways, including the course that Jack Nicklaus put so much effort into.
